Universal Basic Income

This UBI initiative aims to deliver stable economic support to impoverished populations worldwide through digital currency technology.

The primary source of funding for UBI comes from donations by various digital currency project parties. The UNDF has already been exploring the application of blockchain technology in the field of social welfare—for instance, cooperating with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to develop a dedicated stablecoin wallet, ensuring that funds are traceable and not misused. This transparent and traceable fund management method is particularly suitable for UBI programs, as it guarantees that funds reach the target population accurately.

UN Digital ID

UN Digital ID — originally a digital wallet designed for UN staff to store personal, human resources, medical, travel, security, salary, and pension data. UNDF plans to expand it globally, providing similar services to low-income groups.

Hardware Walllet

A hardware wallet is a physical device, also known as a cold wallet, which is used to store the private keys of cryptocurrencies and allows users to sign transactions in an offline state. Compared with hot wallets, cold wallets offer significantly greater security due to their offline nature, making them particularly suitable for users who hold digital currencies for the long term.
